Logo designs
Logo designs are one of the first projects I got in my journey as a graphic designer, for most of us it is same. In fact the logo you see at the home page of this blog was the first real logo I ever did.Sure I had done several for clients at the office but I call this the first because it was the first I placed in that 3d wall you so want to place yours.
So yes I decided to let you in on the steps to place your logo on a 3d mockup wall using Photoshop.
CONTENT
1. Create a simple but peculiar logo 2. Download he 3d mockup file from this post 3. Past your logo (using the Smart Object) 4. Save your logo as PNG (recommended) Without further delay, let’s get to it already.1. Create a simple but peculiar logo
(I would recommend that one also goes through these factors to consider even if you are a pro-logo designer for the sake of emphasis.)
·
Research
Research is a vital element of the design, for example if you wanted to create a design concept for a catering service/ restaurant, then it would be a good idea to take a look at their food menu, the kind of clients they wish to do business with and their business strategy (What makes them different from other catering services and restaurants). Keeping these important points in mind will help you create a peculiar logo.
· Put Pen to Paper
There is a lot to be said for the good old fashioned way of putting your ideas and design concepts down on paper. It may be one of the most time-consuming aspects of creating a logo but rushing ahead with the design will compromise the final result. As you start out with preliminary sketches, you will see your drafts branching out into improved variations of your original idea.
· Simplicity
Always try to create a very simple (easy to remember) but complex (hard to recreate) logo. That on its own makes you a professional.
With this three factors in mind I think you are ready to create an amazing and peculiar logo. Now we can get to the 3d part of this post.
1.
DOWNLOAD THE 3D
MOCKUP FILE THROUGH A LINK FROM THIS POST
Download 3d window glass mock upYes that’s all you have to do in this stage.
2. PASTE YOUR LOGO (USING THE SMART OBJECT)
Now in this stage we are going to have to take it step by step to ensure you are following.- Open he downloader Psd photoshop file
if you noticed the above mockup is not the same with the window muckup at the top of this post this is my way of telling you that, IT''S THE SAME PROCESS FOR EVERY PSD MUCKUP!!!
This will automically take you to another page where you can paste you logo you have created before now.- After pasting your logo, close the eye for the original logo you saw there.
- That it, go back to the main (downloaded) psd page
